Auberge de la Truffe

This is the menu we had at the Auberge de la Truffe… and the food served.

Clockwise:
– Consommé à la Brumale (truffles)
– Magret de canard à la royale (truffles & fois frais) et pommmes sarladaises
– Grande assiette du pâtissier
– Château Champarel (Pécharmant)
– Oeufs brouillés aux truffes du Périgord
– Chariot de fromages affinés de la Ferme Périgourdine

The star of the show was by far and away the duck, a melt in your mouth combination of tender duck breast and fois chaud.
