This is a very interesting shot. There is so much confusion about depth of field – it is unnaturally 2D.

Yes, I liked the effect and wanted to see if it would come out in a photo and I think it did pretty well.
Hi Ella. I am doing pretty well. Just about to change jobs, though I have not selected a new one. All quite exciting as I have been in the current one for nearly 20 years and really need a change. Should be pretty interesting to get back into the field and lab and out of the regulatory environment, shuffling papers and policies all day long.
